Recording My Audio Book for Into The Planet

By April 2, 2019 No Comments

Recently I began the process of recording my audiobook that is due for release on August 27, 2019. Few people would know that it takes a village to record a book. In this episode of the Into The Planet podcast, I discuss the process with co-host Robert McClellan. We talk about producers, directors, engineers and editors and what it takes to bring my book to listeners around the world.

A big shout out to my Director Kate Hurman, a Canadian actress, director, voice actress, and teacher. She has more than 25 years of professional experience in the field of theatre and does some amazing work with individuals on the autism spectrum. She helps people be their very best! I also want to shout out thanks to Wayne Bartlett, founder of Bartmart Audio. With 20 years of audio post experience and a Gemini award under his belt, Wayne has built a solid reputation for sound design. And finally, Jim Gardner, the talented recording engineer who runs the sessions, hears my mistakes and helps me make it right!
