Today was my birthday and when I woke up this morning I did not expect the beautiful surprise that landed in my inbox. TED.com reached out to tell me that I was the features TED talk on the front page of TED. You could not wipe the grin off my face all day. Participating in TEDYouth in New York was one of those life affirming moments when I knew I was doing precisely what I wanted to do with my life. As I enter the second half of my life, it was incredible to be surrounded by a venue full of inspiring young people at the beginning of theirs. Thanks TED!
