Camrig offers us a reminder to pull that GoPro out of our dive bag and use it to document life and adventure in many other ways. If you have an idea about how to use your GoPro, there has probably already been a cool mount developed for it!

DCIM100GOPROSince the very beginning, GoPro users have been pushing the envelope, finding new ways to get amazing photos and videos. From taking the time to enjoy kite boarding POV to dropping GoPro cameras into the ocean, GoPro lovers have done everything they can to make the most of these amazing cameras. If you want to enjoy doing something imaginative and adventurous with your GoPro, here are some exciting, awesome things that you may want to try yourself.

Create Your Own Action Vehicle Scene

With the right mount, it’s easy to attach your GoPro to nearly any type of vehicle, including motorcycles, four wheelers, cars, and trucks. If you love watching action vehicle chase scenes and stunt scenes in the movies, you may want to try creating your own. Attach the GoPro to your motorcycle or vehicle and see what kind of action scene you can create. If you’re great at doing stunts, you’ll have even more fun creating an action scene with your vehicle. Ensure you have your camera in a heavy-duty housing to ensure it isn’t damaged while you enjoy the adrenaline of creating your vehicle action scene.

Get a Cool View of Fireworks

Instead of getting the same old fireworks photos and videos from the ground, your GoPro and a drone can help you get a much cooler view of the fireworks. Send a drone up to get your camera airborne and you’ll have an incredible perspective. You’ll love the amazing fireworks photos and videos you take when you’re camera is up in the sky.

Jump Out of an Airplane

Jumping out of an airplane already provides a great adrenaline rush, but with your GoPro camera you can actually capture that rush and the amazing views you get from the sky as you float down to earth. Choose a cool place to jump out of the airplane so you get some great footage with your GoPro.

Go for a Roller Coaster Ride

When you ride a roller coaster, the biggest problem is that your ride is over too quickly. Next time you ride a roller coaster, take your GoPro camera along with you. Use a vest mount or a head mount to attach the camera so you get a great view of all the action. By filming your roller coaster experience you’ll have the chance to relive that ride again and again.

Analyze Your Performance

If you’re an athlete or sports enthusiast, consider using your GoPro to capture and analyze your performance. You can use the slow-motion video feature or the burst mode to get a better view of what you’re doing. Kelly Slater, one of the most well-known surf champions, often attaches the camera to the front of his surfboard to analyze his performance when he’s out on the waves. You can do the same thing, whether you’re a surfer, snowboarder, skateboarded, football player, or a kite boarder.

Time Lapse Photography

One of the coolest features of the GoPro is the time-lapse photography feature. You can program your GoPro to take a steady sequence of photos, choosing snaps every second or just a snapshot every minute. Once you’re done, you can use the Studio editing software from GoPro on your computer to put your photos together to create an amazing time-lapse video. Whether you want to document a family vacation or the northern lights, this feature is an awesome way to use your GoPro.
